Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines. You'll work with modern data technologies including Databricks, Snowflake, and Apache Spark to deliver reliable ETL/ELT solutions. Strong experience in one or two of our core platforms is essential, and experience in the financial domain is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data platforms and lakehouse architectures using Databricks or Snowflake
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark, Python, and SQL
- Build data infrastructure on Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data pipelines and systems
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand and deliver data solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to platform best practices and documentation
Qualifications
- 6–12 years of professional experience in data engineering or data platform development
- Strong expertise in one or two platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, or Apache Spark
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation
- Demonstrated experience with Azure or AWS data services
- Experience in financial services or fintech domain (preferred but not required)
