Key Responsibilities

• Build polished, responsive, and accessible product experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Design intuitive interfaces for complex recruiter and candidate workflows, including job setup, applications, assessments, interviews, and evaluations.
• Own features end to end, from product definition and frontend implementation through APIs, data modeling, testing, and production release.
• Develop and maintain backend functionality using TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and integrations with Python and AI services.
• Build reliable AI-powered workflows with appropriate validation, structured outputs, error handling, and human oversight.
• Integrate securely with authentication, video, email, storage, and other external platforms used across the product.
• Improve application performance, accessibility, security, observability, and resilience across normal and failure states.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in technical discussions, code reviews, architecture decisions, and production debugging.
• Collaborate directly with the founders, product, and design to turn customer problems into effective production software.
• Use modern engineering and AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining strong judgment and ownership of the resulting code.

Qualifications

• Final-year B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, or M.S. student, recent graduate, or early-career engineer with approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming, data-structure, problem-solving, and debugging fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building modern web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and a frontend framework such as React.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, application state, API integration, and user experience principles.
• Familiarity with backend development, relational databases, SQL, authentication, and API design.
• Experience taking a project or feature from an idea to a working, deployed product.
• Demonstrated initiative through internships, personal projects, hackathons, research, startup work, or open-source contributions.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly, work independently, and take ownership in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong attention to product quality, usability, reliability, and implementation detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design.
